Seoul, South Korea — Korean spatial security technology company Kn-Us is rapidly expanding its global footprint after a series of strategic collaborations, government support, and international orders for its cutting-edge eavesdropping and recording prevention systems.
Recently, Kn-Us announced a major collaboration with French defense and technology giant Thales for a Proof of Concept which was heavily funded by the Korean government, reinforcing its position as a rising force in global defense and cybersecurity innovation.
Kn-Us offers an advanced eavesdropping prevention system that integrates wireless backdoor hacking detection and a noiseless ultrasonic anti-recording device, providing fully secure communication environments for both public institutions and private corporations. The company’s eavesdropping prevention technology, already commercialized (TRL9) and designated as an innovative product by the Korean Public Procurement Service in 2023, protects organizations from unauthorized surveillance, data breaches, and espionage threats.
Domestically, Kn-Us has secured orders from more than 20 Korean customers, including the Korean National Police Agency, Ministry of Strategy and Finance, Korea Customs Service, Korea Fiscal Information Service, Hyundai Corporation, Hyundai Motor Company affiliates, Korean Coast Guard, and several financial and government institutions.
Building on this success, Kn-Us is expanding internationally. The company has recently secured orders from Indonesian public institutions and is now entering the Indian market in partnership with Nilimad and the Singapore market through a defence company, marking its growing presence in key Indo-Pacific regions.
Kn-Us’s technology stands out for its ability to detect and neutralize unauthorized wireless activity in real time, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile signals—even those using complex techniques such as frequency hopping or spread spectrum. Its patented detection system and portable surveillance devices make it ideal for defense, government, and corporate security operations.
As concerns over data breaches and espionage grow worldwide, Kn-Us’s collaboration with global leaders like Thales highlights South Korea’s rising status as a hub for advanced digital and spatial security solutions.
