  • Polysilicon revenue surged 297% to RMB 3.89 billion, driven by higher sales volumes and prices.

Revenue Growth and Financial Performance

Xinte Energy, a manufacturer of polysilicon, inverters, and energy storage solutions, reported significant financial improvements in the first half of 2026. The company achieved revenue of RMB 10.15 billion, marking a 38.88% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Meanwhile, the net loss attributable to shareholders decreased to RMB 212 million, down from RMB 256 million last year.

The primary driver behind this revenue growth was a remarkable increase in polysilicon sales, which rose by 297.27% to RMB 3.89 billion. This surge was attributed to both increased sales volumes and a slight rise in the average selling prices of polysilicon. In terms of other business segments, revenue from the construction of wind and solar power plants grew modestly by 1.69% to RMB 3.40 billion. This growth, however, contrasts with a decline in revenue from power plant operations, which fell by 16.73% to RMB 1.09 billion, largely due to decreased on-grid electricity volumes and lower settlement electricity prices.

The electrical equipment sector, which includes inverters and energy storage products, generated RMB 1.59 billion in revenue, reflecting an 8.87% increase. This growth indicates a steady demand for energy solutions, reinforcing Xinte Energy’s position in the market.

Xinte Energy’s parent company, TBEA, noted that their existing polysilicon production capacity has reached 260,000 tons per year. This capacity is likely to support ongoing sales growth and meet the rising demand in the renewable energy sector. With the ongoing shift towards sustainable energy sources, Xinte Energy appears well-positioned to capitalize on market trends and continue its recovery trajectory.
