Under a power purchase agreement, the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited will acquire the electricity at a rate of ₹3.50 per unit, ensuring the state benefits from both clean energy and stable revenue.

A key feature of the project is its community-focused revenue-sharing model. According to Chief Minister Sukhu, 25 percent of the income generated will fund development works in the gram panchayat, an additional 25 percent will support the welfare of orphans and widows, while 20 percent will go to the state government and another 20 percent to HIM URJA. The remaining 10 percent will be allocated for project operation and maintenance. It is anticipated that the gram panchayat will earn approximately ₹14 lakh annually from this initiative.
